Metalheadz's Blue Note night in London and listening to DJ Rap at a boat party in Paris in 1997 were the defining moments for the artist to commit himself for D&B. Back at Istanbul, he started DJing at NRG-F.M. where he pioneered drum n bass in Turkey. In 2001, right after he got his BA in Film and TV, he moved to London to study Sound Recording and Music Technology at Islington Music Workshop. Financing his studio equipment by working at hotels and restaurants at that time, Can sent his first tune to GLR and the positive feedback from LTJ Bukem clearly encouraged him.

He has been DJ'ing at various parties and clubs since 1997 and at Dinamo FM since 2003. He is running n.u.g. studios in Istanbul together with his mates where they produce house music, music for commercials and remixes for major Turkish artists.
